Hi, I’m Scott! As a professional wedding & commercial photographer based in the Bay Area (CA), I also own and operate my company, Scott Roeder Photography, and Oh Snap! Booth Co. (photo booth rentals).
A decade ago, I started my photography career specializing in sports and portrait photography; however, on this journey, I realized that many of the elements that I appreciated about sports photography, were also relevant in wedding photography. The similar characteristics include powerful stories, preparation, emotion, unexpected action, passion, beauty and rituals. Wedding photography inspires and challenges me as a photographer, working to capture and create stunning images that are everlasting. My passion for meeting people, traveling and experiencing new places, often finds me ready to snap life’s moments through my lens.
Fun facts: I graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in Informatics (computer science); I deejay as a hobby; I’ve won two National titles playing on a Professional Ultimate frisbee team; and if you say to me… pizza? I’m in!
